Cabins

The cabins have comfortable beds or berths.  A complete set of bed linen, including pillowcases, sheets and blankets is provided.  Some cabins have a sink.

Heating

Each boat is equipped with heating for cruising in early or late season.  Whether working on gas or on diesel, they all are easy and safe to use.  It is advised not to overheat the cabins, as condensation on water can be extensive.

Galley

Open-plan galley which is fully equipped with a hob of two to four hotplates, oven (except boat type Baladin), refrigerator, sink with running cold and hot water, cutlery, utensils and crockery.

Water

The large water tank of drinking water should last at least two days. You can fill up at the water points shown on your canal guide.  The water is distributed by an automatic pump.

Hot water

The water is heated by the engine and stored in an insulated hot water tank.

Electricity

Your boat is equipped with a 12 volt electrical circuit.  Several boats have a 12 volt socket (comparable to the one in cars) for recharging portable telephones or video cameras.  Electrical equipment on 110 or 220-240 volt cannot be used.  

Gas

Two gas cylinders are on board to feed the stove, the oven, the heating system and sometimes the refrigerator.  The first one is connected, while the second one serves as a refill.  The equipment meets the highest standards of safety.

Baby kit

A Baby Kit is at your disposal for free.  It includes a bed, a bicycle seat, a relax, a bath tub and a chair.

Engine

All boats have an in-board diesel engine.  The tank is filled at your departure: you will have enough fuel for at least two weeks' cruising.  The cost of the fuel is calculated at the end of your journey based on the time you sailed and the power of the engine (depending on the type of boat 2.9 € to 4.8 € per engine hour).

Engine failure

In case of an an engine failure or any other technical problem, just contact our base.  We maintain a breakdown service between 9h and 19h and will attend to any breakdown rapidly.

Refrigerator

The refrigerator works on gas or on 12 volt electricity; it does not have a freezer compartment.

Bathrooms

All are boats have at least one bathroom with running cold and hot water, shower, wash basin and toilet.

Barbecue

A barbecue is for hire with charcoal at 14 € per week or weekend

Deck chairs

A set of plastic chairs and table to put on the bridge is for hire at 17 € per week or weekend

Bicycles

Bicycles are for hire at 24 € per bicycle per week or 17 € per mini-week or weekend.
